At peel st, we adopt a really simple formula. Our food has to be simple, fresh and delicious. We work on making everything we do generous, abundant and buzzing with robust flavours.  Our chefs Jordan and Marty draw on their diverse food experiences, use the best ingredients they can get their hands on and most importantly, cook the food they love to eat - for you.

Also opening in the next three to four months is peel st, the latest offering from the team behind Goolwa’s Aquacaf – Jordan Theodoros, Ben McLeod and Martin Corcoran. peel st will offer what Theodoros describes as “really simple fresh food with a focus on Middle Eastern flavours”.

“It will be a casual dining experience that brings the relaxed Aquacaf feel to the city,” Theodoros says. “We wanted to place ourselves in an area that’s growing and be surrounded by like minded people. It will be nice to be back in the city.” To read the full article please click here.

Laneways culture spreads to Peel St

"For restaurant-goers, the news gets better: about three months away is a new place, peel street, from the guys who made Aquacaf such a success in Goolwa, Jordan Theodoros and Ben McLeod. We can taste the mulloway pastie already. McLeod will throw open the doors at the back of the former Fletcher Jones site all day and about three nights a week. Set in one of Adelaide’s up and coming laneways, peel st is the ideal spot for your event. With exposed bricks and beams, warm recycled wooden panels, shugg windows and a long, concrete and timber bar, peel st looks the part for your sit-down birthday dinner, a cocktail party with friends or any corporate event.

Chefs Jordan Theodoros and Martin Corcoran like to feed large parties in a communal or family style, bringing the food out in waves and serving a range of delicious flavours.

This is not your standard three-course meal. But we’re also happy to work with you to create a menu, accounting for dietary requirements and always using the best of the season.

Our food has strong ties to Asia and the Middle East but it doesn’t end there. Basically it’s all about the freshest produce, generous hospitality and food that bursts with flavour.

peel st can seat up to 65 people for a sit-down dinner or 80-90 people for a stand-up cocktail party. Please ask about our minimum spend in order to have exclusive use of the restaurant, which varies from weekdays to weekends.

When it comes to drinks, you can make your own selection from our wine list and be charged based on consumption, or we offer a beverage package starting at $45 per head, which covers a great selection of sparkling, red and white wines, beers and soft drinks.

When you book an event at peel st, a deposit of $10 per person is required to secure the date. We also ask that final numbers are confirmed 48 hours before the event. Charges will be based on the final numbers. If you have to cancel, charges may be incurred depending on how much notice is given.

Accounts must be finalised on the date of the function. We accept credit cards, cash, Eftpos or an electronic bank deposit. Cheques are only accepted if prior arrangements are made.

Our food is simple fresh and delicious and it’s important that the food we send offsite is just as fabulous as the food you enjoy in our dining room.

We cater the way we like to eat, as a shared experience. Much of our food is served on platters and the choices are similar to the range of seasonal dishes served daily on our bar at lunch.
